What actually happens on an Alanya quad safari

An automatic buggy over the same rugged ground above Alanya — 1.5 to 2 hours off-road, hotel transfer and helmet included.
The ride
A buggy takes the terrain differently. You sit lower, hold a wheel instead of bars, and the ground comes at you through a frame — which is exactly why some guests will not consider anything else.
The route is the one the quads take: out of the resorts, up into the hills behind Alanya, across mountain terrain, forest tracks and natural river-bed ground. Automatic transmission throughout, so there is nothing to shift and nothing to stall.
Every driver goes through the same gate first — information briefing, safety briefing, instructions for the vehicle, and a test drive. Get through that and the route is yours; decide you would rather not, and you ride the same route beside a driver at half the price.
Timing
The earlier air and the cooler ground. Popular with guests who want the rest of the day still ahead of them.
A later start for a slower morning. The light is lower by the end of the ride.
This is the one thing worth reading twice. Your session begins at 08:00 or 13:00. Your hotel pick-up happens earlier than that, and the exact minute depends on where your hotel sits on the transfer route and how the day is scheduled. We confirm your pick-up time to you after you book, rather than printing a time here that would be wrong for most hotels.
The day
Seven steps from your hotel door to your hotel door. Nothing in between is left for you to guess.
Our transfer collects you from your hotel or meeting point. Your exact pick-up time is set by your hotel and your session, and is confirmed to you after you book.
You reach the safari starting point and get ready to ride.
The team walks you through the route, the vehicles, the basic rules and what the next couple of hours will actually be like.
Clear, practical instructions: how to handle the vehicle, how to ride safely in a group, what to do and what not to do.
Before anyone goes anywhere near the main route, every driver takes a short test drive. This is where the briefing stops being words.
Once everyone is comfortable and ready, the guided safari starts and the tracks open up.
Dusty, and back the way you came — our transfer returns you toward your hotel or meeting point.
Before you book
Drivers must be 16 or older. Bring ID — it is checked as proof of age, not as a licence.
This safari runs on a private off-road course, not on public roads, so a driving licence is not required to take part. What we do require is the briefing and the test drive.
Every guest who wants to drive completes the safety briefing and a short test drive first. It is a genuine check, not a formality.
Our guides decide whether a driver is safe and suitable to take the route. If the answer is no on the day, nobody's holiday is over: you ride exactly the same route as a passenger, at half the driver price.
Safety
Nobody enjoys an off-road route they feel behind on. Everything below happens before the safari begins, and it is why guests who have never touched a quad ride the same trail as guests who have.
A helmet is provided and worn for the whole safari. It is not optional and it is not an extra.
Information briefing about the route and the vehicles
Safety briefing on riding in a group
Instructions on operating your vehicle
A test drive before the main route
Practical
Nothing expensive, nothing complicated. These few things make the ride noticeably better.
Dress code
This is off-road, so plan for dust, mud, dirt and water — in whatever combination the day provides. Dark or practical clothing is a much happier choice than white.
Closed or comfortable shoes are the sensible option. Sandals are possible, but you will enjoy the ride more in something with a bit more to it.
The one-line version
Wear something you would not mind hosing down afterwards.

This site is new, and we would rather show you nothing than show you reviews we wrote ourselves. When guests who booked here start leaving them, they will appear on this page — good ones and bad ones.
Questions
€35 per driver, and €17.50 for a passenger riding with a driver.
Half the driver price of the vehicle: €14 on a quad, €17.50 on a buggy.
16 and over. Bring ID — it is checked as proof of age.
No. The safari runs on a private off-road course rather than public roads, so no driving licence is required. Every driver does the safety briefing and a test drive instead.
Yes, all of them. No clutch, no gears — if you have never driven a manual, it makes no difference here.
Yes. You ride the same route with a driver, and pay half the driver price.
The off-road experience is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Your hotel transfer and the briefings are on top of that.
There are two sessions every day: one starts at 08:00 and one at 13:00. You choose which when you book.
No. 08:00 is when the session starts. Your pick-up is earlier, and the exact time depends on your hotel and the transfer route — we confirm it to you after you book.
Yes — round-trip hotel transfer is included in the price, from selected hotels and areas around Alanya.
Yes, family and group buggy options are available. Whoever drives pays the driver price and anyone riding with them pays half. Message us with your group and we will confirm the arrangement.
Comfortable clothes you do not mind getting dirty, and comfortable shoes. Dark or practical colours beat white on an off-road track.
An information briefing, a safety briefing, instructions on operating your vehicle, and a test drive. Only then does the route begin.
No. The briefing and test drive exist for exactly that reason. Our guides have the final say on whether a driver is ready, and anyone who would rather not drive can ride the same route as a passenger.
