Questions

Frequently asked questions

How much is the Alanya quad safari?

€28 per driver. If someone rides with you rather than driving, they pay €14.

How much is the buggy safari?

€35 per driver, and €17.50 for a passenger riding with a driver.

What age can drive a quad or a buggy?

16 and over. Bring ID — it is checked as proof of age.

Do I need a driving licence?

No. The safari runs on a private off-road course rather than public roads, so no driving licence is required. Every driver does the safety briefing and a test drive instead.

Are the vehicles automatic?

Yes, all of them. No clutch, no gears — if you have never driven a manual, it makes no difference here.

Can I ride as a passenger instead of driving?

Yes. You ride the same route with a driver, and pay half the driver price.

How much does a passenger pay?

Half the driver price of the vehicle: €14 on a quad, €17.50 on a buggy.

Is the helmet included?

Yes, a helmet is provided and it is included in the price.

Is the helmet mandatory?

Yes. It is worn for the whole safari, with no exceptions.

How long does the safari last?

The off-road experience is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Your hotel transfer and the briefings are on top of that.

Is hotel transfer included?

Yes — round-trip hotel transfer is included in the price, from selected hotels and areas around Alanya.

What time does the safari start?

There are two sessions every day: one starts at 08:00 and one at 13:00. You choose which when you book.

Is 08:00 the time you pick me up from my hotel?

No. 08:00 is when the session starts. Your pick-up is earlier, and the exact time depends on your hotel and the transfer route — we confirm it to you after you book.

Is 13:00 the pick-up time for the afternoon?

No, 13:00 is when the afternoon session starts. Your hotel pick-up is arranged before that and confirmed after booking.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothes you do not mind getting dirty, and comfortable shoes. Dark or practical colours beat white on an off-road track.

Can I wear sandals?

You can, but closed or sturdier shoes are more comfortable on the route.

Should I bring sunglasses?

Yes — the track gets dusty, and sunglasses make a real difference.

Can I wear white clothes?

You can, but you probably will not want to. Off-road riding means dust, mud, dirt and water.

Is there a family buggy?

Yes, family and group buggy options are available. Whoever drives pays the driver price and anyone riding with them pays half. Message us with your group and we will confirm the arrangement.

What happens before the safari starts?

An information briefing, a safety briefing, instructions on operating your vehicle, and a test drive. Only then does the route begin.

Do I need previous quad or buggy experience?

No. The briefing and test drive exist for exactly that reason. Our guides have the final say on whether a driver is ready, and anyone who would rather not drive can ride the same route as a passenger.
